Ava Mousley

Miss Utah Teen Volunteer 2027

Ava Mousley is Miss Utah Teen Volunteer 2027. A vocalist, children’s book author and inclusion advocate, she helps people of all abilities feel seen, valued and included through her S.E.R.V.E. initiative, Inclusion Starts with ME.

Ava attends Bingham High School and plans to pursue a cosmetology license and a degree in Business and Marketing. She has trained in vocal performance for six years, bringing her love of musical theatre and community service to her titleholder year.

S.E.R.V.E. initiative

Ava has dedicated more than 550 hours to inclusion and community outreach. She wrote and published the children’s book Inclusion Starts with ME and visits classrooms to encourage kindness and inclusive friendships.

Through Project Haleigh’s Runway, she raised funds for an electric stair lift and outdoor ramp to improve a teenage girl’s independence and accessibility at home. Her community events have included sensory-friendly pictures with Santa, an adaptive Easter egg hunt and an all-abilities kickball game and ice cream social.

During her titleholder year, Ava plans to bring her book into more classrooms, expand inclusion programs in high schools and create more sensory-friendly events. Her goal is to inspire people to build inclusive friendships in their own schools and communities.
