Programs

Miss

Talent, interview, evening gown, and fitness and wellness each count for 25%. Review national age requirements, Utah eligibility and the route to state representation.

Teen

The same four equally weighted competition phases, with Teen age eligibility and Utah’s school-status requirement. Participants and guardians plan the experience together.

Princess

A separate program built around pageant-week activities. The experience includes preparation, stage participation and the Princess celebration. Miss/Teen scoring and awards do not apply.

Miss and Teen participants compete for Utah awards while preparing a talent and sharing their service interests. The national S.E.R.V.E. mission connects scholarship and education with responsibility, volunteerism and empowerment.

Utah’s alumni show the range: Lauren Salimbene connected dance with her movement-focused initiative; Haivyn Pitchforth brought piano and “The World Around Us.” Their stories are examples, not a required talent or cause.

Miss Utah Volunteer

$900 in participant fees ($150 deposit plus $750 competition fee), with a separate $500 ad-sales commitment.

Miss Utah Teen Volunteer

$700 in participant fees ($150 deposit plus $550 competition fee), with a separate $500 ad-sales commitment.

Princess participation

$250 participation fee.
