Princess participation

Rehearse for the stage, join the Princess celebration and be part of Utah’s pageant-week community. Explore the activities for your child and the plans you’ll make as a family.

A pageant-week experience of her own.

The Princess program brings younger participants into the MUV community through rehearsals, onstage participation and shared events. Families receive their detailed participation instructions directly from the program team.

Celebrate together

A place in the Volunteer family.

The national Volunteer organization offers a Princess program alongside Miss and Teen. Utah’s Princess experience has its own activities and family arrangements; Miss and Teen scoring does not apply to Princess participation.

The earlier Utah program included a production number, accompanying contestants on stage and a service project led by the Miss and Teen titleholders. The public events below include stage events families can attend. Ask the team about this season’s service activity and included items.

Eligibility

The published age range is 8–12 on the first day of the state pageant. The existing requirements also specify medical and legal female status, Utah residency, United States citizenship and participation in all Princess activities. Confirm the governing requirements and current program name with MUV before registering.

2026 fee and family arrangements

The 2026 Princess participation fee is $250. Contact MUV for payment and refund terms, included items, the schedule, supervision and guardian responsibilities.

Confirm which items and activities are included before planning purchases. Any recognition or award arrangements are specific to the Princess program; Miss and Teen award amounts do not apply.

Plan the experience together.

Registered families receive participation instructions directly from the Princess team. Use those materials when making family plans.

Ask the team what clothing and other items your child needs, which activities require a guardian to attend, and how supervision and pickup work. Follow the individual instructions sent directly by the program team.
